eh its a negative portrayal of love..
It's the total opposite of "love is patient,love is kind and it does not boast" (can't rem which bible verse is that)

anyway i think it's telling us to control ourselves and not let a thing like love take over our system and drag us down..

Basically just be strong lar..haha.
